Hank's Blog

Welcome to my blog.

First, let me state that this site is not run by a large corporation or entity.

Everything is handled by myself with some assistance from my daughter who recently graduated from Cal Poly.

This is a grassroots effort to help support education. Teachers, Students, Faculty, Parents, PTA's, and anyone interested in improving education.

My background consists of over 20 years in the IT profession plus a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration / Information Technology.

My goal is to connect 1 on 1 with as many people as I can to offer assistance in providing funding for educational projects.

Visit the 'Contact Us' page to drop me a note or give me a call so we can talk.

Thanks!

Hank

New items added to Resources - Teacher Publications & Online Learning
By Hank
Friday, May 15, 2009 10:47

I've a added a few new items to the Resources directory.

The first are a few publications for educatators in the News & Media / Publications section.

The others are in the Education / Tutoring & e-Learning section.

Online learning and e-learning sites and tools are becoming much more viable options to engage students with the use of computers.  This is increasingly important to teaching in rural areas as well as individuals that seek higher challenges in any subject area. Some programs are free, and others offer courses or membership at various levels.

All worth checking out. ....

By Hank

I found this really nice site for teachers and educators.

It's a social network for those interested in Web 2.0 and collaborative technologies in education.

You might want to check it out for yourself.
